Cornerstone House provides residential group home services for adults with developmental disabilities in King William, Virginia. Our services include:
- 24-hour residential care and supervision
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Life skills development and training
- Community integration support
- Health and wellness coordination
- Individualized person-centered support planning
All residential services are subject to a separate written service agreement, individualized support plan (ISP), and authorization from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) or other applicable funding source.
3. Admissions Process
The admissions process for residential services includes:
- Initial inquiry and preliminary screening
- Submission of referral documentation and assessments

- Pre-admission visit and assessment
- Verification of funding authorization

5. Professional Service Disclaimer
Important Notice: Cornerstone House provides residential support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. However, we are not a licensed medical facility, and our staff are not licensed medical professionals unless separately credentialed.
Cornerstone House is not:
- A law firm and does not provide legal advice
- A medical practice and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment
- A mental health treatment facility
- A CPA firm or tax preparation service
- A licensed nursing facility or skilled nursing home
When matters require licensed professionals (physicians, therapists, attorneys, etc.), we coordinate with independent third-party providers with appropriate authorization from the individual or their authorized representative. Any such third-party service is outside Cornerstone House's scope and is governed by a separate agreement directly between the individual and that provider.
