About Cornerstone House
A mission-driven home where every individual is seen, heard, and supported to live fully.
A Provider Built on Trust and Compassion
Cornerstone Community Services LLC was founded with a simple but profound belief: every person with a developmental or intellectual disability deserves a home — not just a place to live, but a true community where they are known, respected, and celebrated.
Located in King William, Virginia, our group home is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). We participate in the Medicaid Waiver program and work alongside support coordinators to deliver services that align with each resident's Individualized Support Plan.
"To provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes the well-being, independence, and community inclusion of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities — in a home where they truly belong."
— Cornerstone Community Services LLCOur Core Values
Dignity & Respect
Every individual is treated with unconditional respect — their preferences, choices, and identity are always honoured.
Empowerment
We actively support residents to make decisions, express goals, and develop the skills to live as independently as possible.
Safety & Well-being
A structured, safe, and healthy environment is the foundation of everything we do — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Community
We foster genuine belonging — within our home and across the King William community — through inclusion and participation.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review outcomes, seek feedback, and invest in staff development to raise the standard of care we provide.
Family Partnership
Families are our partners. We communicate openly, welcome visits, and work collaboratively to support shared goals.
